Whilst my main interest is with early Acorn computers I have been diverted towards computers which use the INS8060, also known as the SC/MP processor. There are not too many examples around in fact the Sinclair MK14 and the National Semiconductors Introkit, upon which the MK14 was based are probably about it !
Whoever the processor was used apparently used in some industrial products (lift controllers ?) and also the Dataman SOFTY 1 and 2 EPROM Programmers.
I remember seeing adverts for the MK14 and SOFTY machines back in the 1970's when they were well out of the reach of my pocket money !
Sinclair/Science of Cambridge:
I have several MK14 related replica or new projects:
Dataman EPROM Programmers:
and again I have made replicas of both Programmers:
I have also created replicas of some SC/MP items, they are detailed here SCMP Replicas.
