Cards
Cards (or Modules as Rockwell call them) that plug into the RM 65 Backplane comply with the Eurocard standard having dimensions of 100mm high and 160mm long
(Modules with Edgeconnectors are slightly longer at 164mm to accommodate the fingers)
As well as using the Eurocard standard DIN41612 connectors all the Modules are also available with an Edgeconnector:
DIN41612 64-way type C i.e. a 96-way housing with rows A and C populated
Edgeconnector 72-way - 2 x 36 on 0.1" spacing
The Backplane takes Modules on a 0.6" spacing, components being mounted on the right hand side of the Module.
Signal Allocations
The Edgeconnector has eight additional connections available so some of the signals are duplicated.
